Home | Machines | Igloo stone splitter

The models in the Igloo series are open frame splitting machines, highly productive and easy to maintain. They feature hydraulically operated shears suitable for splitting any type of stone. Both blades are equipped with an RB system for adjusting each tool based on the roughness of the stones, thereby ensuring high quality splits. These are extremely versatile and fast splitting machines able to produce large quantities of split stones. The Igloo splitting machines made by Steinex Srl are designed for splitting hard material in a continuous production process and are well known throughout the world for their robustness, reliability and precision processing. These machines are used to split granite, basalt, gneiss, limestone, sandstone, porphyry and many other types of natural stone.

All models are equipped with a low noise, high-efficiency hydraulic power unit with high quality hydraulic components offering between 20 to180 tons of splitting pressure depending on the model.
