The manipulators manufactured by Steinex are extremely important devices for handling heavy pieces of both shapeless and uniform material. They are easy to use and combine power and precision: two factors that make them one of a kind. They are essential to ensure the safety of workers as well as to achieve high production performance. They make it possible for the operator to push, turn, rotate, position and move pieces effortlessly.

The MP600 and MP820 manipulators are integrated in the IGLOO 500, IGLOO 600 and IGLOO 640 models and in the IGLOO-SHERPA compact plants. They make it possible to move pieces from the Sherpa conveyor and place them in the desired position under the Igloo blade. They are operated via a console equipped with joysticks and can lift pieces weighing over 600 kg. 

The MP1000 and M-PRO proportional manipulators are integrated in the Menhir 1000 models and Menhir-Sherpa plants. They make it possible to move large-sized blocks from the Sherpa BT or BC belts and place them in the desired position under the blade of Menhir presses. These powerful devices make it possible to handle pieces weighing several tons. The can be installed alone or in pairs on the Menhir structures.
